X-scapes

X-scapes includes the work of four artists who investigate city plans through their artwork. Using elements from mapping and blueprints they create aerial views of urban landscapes through a variety of media. Stephanie Beck cuts paper; Christine Gedeon sews, layers and paints on fabric; Ross Racine draws digitally and Dannielle Tegeder constructs three-dimensional mobiles. these artists alter our perspective of community organization and challenge us to reconsider how we view our landscape.
